The City of Pella should invest in creating a dog park for its residents. This would not only be a great community park, but would create a place for citizens to meet and mingle. If the community is large enough to support a thriving dog boutique on the Square, then there should be plenty of residential support to create a dog park. Location options include the now empty lot, previously a baseball field, located near the corner of peace Street and E. 3rd St. A dog park could also be created at Caldwell Park, and this area already has plenty of parking.
