[ARCHIVED] Let us bring the tulips to you!

The tulips are ready to pop here in Pella.  It’s important for us to share their beauty with all of you; however, it’s just as important to keep you and our community safe!  Therefore, if you choose to visit Pella, please observe the social distancing guidelines published by the Centers for Disease Control.

To help you enjoy our beautiful blooms from home, we have teamed up with other organizations in town to provide you with daily doses of tulips.  We will be sharing “live from Pella” along with other video updates Monday through Friday to “Bring our Tulips to You!”

Coffee Time with Tulips: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 9:00 a.m. via Facebook live with Parks Manager Chandler Nunnikhoven.  Join us with your cup of joe as Chandler talks about the types of tulips in our parks and how we care for them.  As we chat, we will show you what is in bloom.  Feel free to send us your questions as you watch!

Tulip Tuesdays: Jessi Vos from the Pella Historical Society will post weekly updates on the Pella Historical Society’s Facebook and Instagram pages.  She will show you what is in bloom at the Village and Scholte House gardens.

Talking Tulips Thursdays: Join Jill Vandevoort, Director of #VisitPella, as she highlights her favorite flower bed of the week and talks about how you can still experience Pella or plan to visit Pella in the future! or

Please enjoy these virtual visits to Pella!
