[ARCHIVED] Library events for adults in January

January 14 at 7:00 p.m.:  Culture Night: Paraguay featuring Ana Martinez. Learn about the culture of Paraguay from a native, and sample authentic food.  This program will be held in Room 206 at the Community Center.  

January 15, 22 & 29 at 6:00 p.m.:  Using DNA Tests in Genealogy.  Brent Martin will teach this series of classes to help you learn about techniques for using DNA test results in genealogy research.  Please register.

January 17 at 10:15 a.m.:  Genealogy Club will meet in the Library Meeting Room to watch the webinar: Raising the Dead: Finding Clues to Ancestors from Headstones, Family Plots, and Burial Records.

January 21 at 10:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m.:  Free Photo Digitizing.  Do you have old photos and documents stored in boxes?  Bring them to the library to be digitized and preserved for future generations.  Registration is required.  

January 31 at 12:00 noon:  Brown Bag Book Club will discuss "Educated" by Tara Westover in the Library Meeting Room.  Bring your lunch and bring a friend.

Geri-Fit® video fitness classes will be held at the library starting in January.  The classes are intended for ages 65 or over who are not currently doing any kind of strength training exercises. An information session will be held Jan. 9 at 10:30 a.m. and the classes will begin on Jan. 16.  Classes will be held on Wednesdays and Fridays at 10:30 a.m. in the Library Meeting Room.  Limited space is available and registration is required.
