[ARCHIVED] New Intermediate Ceramic Class

Intermediate Ceramic Class - Fridays 3:30 – 5:00 pm twice a month for children and adults over the age of 10. Jan 17 & 31, Feb 14 & 28, Mar 14 & 28, Apr 11 & 25 & May 8. This class will explore clay building to a new level. We will be exclusively using clay and building techniques to further interest and skill level in the ceramic studio. Students will learn how to center and throw a pot on the kick wheels and electric potter’s wheels. Slab building and hand building techniques will be further studied and advance skills taught. Sculpture and hand modeling will be included. We will also explore glazing and under-glazing techniques for completed functional pieces. Limit of 10 people.
