The Pella Public Library app for both Google Play and Apple is experiencing an extended outage. We have also been made aware that some users are seeing inaccurate checkout information when viewing the app. Please discontinue use of the app until further notice.
This outage is not related specifically to the Pella Public Library, but rather to the vendor of our current Integrated Library System (ILS). This vendor and app serve libraries of all sizes, all over the world. We were not notified in advance of this outage, and we unfortunately have no control over when the Pella Public Library app might return and in what form.
Even though this issue was outside of our control, we apologize for the inconvenience it will cause to the many Pella Public Library app users. There are several steps you can take while the app is unavailable.
1) Take a good, glare-free picture of the barcode side of your library card on a flat surface so you will have access to it on your phone. We can scan this picture directly from your phone to check out materials.
2) For access to the library catalog and account related information, please visit: https://pella.ent.sirsi.net and click on "My Account." You will need your library card and PIN number to log in. If you have forgotten your PIN, please contact the library.
3) For catalog inquiries or account information, you may also call the library at (641) 628-4268, e-mail us at: email@example.com, or simply stop in to the library front desk.
