Search engines are a fine place to start a search of the internet, but often the results are unsatisfactory. Besides, the internet isn't the only place to find information. The library is a great place to start your search. The Heritage Room contains many resources for local, county, and state research.

- Use Iowa Locator or WorldCat to find books, CDs, DVDs, and other items in libraries.
- Pella Community Memory Database - A grant-funded project providing online access to Pella’s local history! Includes photographs, letters, genealogical research, and more! Read more about this project.
- The Heritage Room has a collection of local history, including family histories, yearbooks, cemetery records, and back issues of the Pella Chronicle on microfilm.
- Look through our Historical Archives - a selection of magazines, newspapers, and other primary-source media documenting historical events as they unfolded.
