Fire

The Pella Volunteer Fire Department provides fire and rescue services to the City of Pella and its surrounding rural communities.  In addition, the Pella Fire Department also provides:

  • Fire/rescue for the Pella Airport
  • Fire suppression
  • General emergency response
  • Hazardous material spill containment
  • Mutual aid to surrounding communities
  • Water rescue
  • Assist Pella Community Ambulance with vehicle extrication and confined space rescue
  • Provide fire safety information for grade school children
