  1. Basketball Registration for 1st & 2nd graders

    January 3, 12:00 PM - February 1, 4:30 PM

Program Dates/Times: Saturday, February 3, 10, 17 & 24 2nd grade boys:10:45-11:45 am 2nd grade girls:12:00-1:00 pm 1st grade boys:1:15-2:15 pm 1st grade girls: 2:30-3:30 pm Deadline to register: Feb 1 @ 4:30 pm The program is designed as an introduction to the skills, drills and game-like situations of basketball. It will be based on participation and not performance. Children will learn the basics by getting the hands-on experience of learning how to dribble, pass and shoot. It is our goal and desire to introduce basketball in such a manner that the participants have fun so as to encourage future participation as they get older. Please enter the gym through the west gym doors off Broadway Street. If a low number of registrations are received, the 1st & 2nd grade boys would be combined and the 1st & 2nd grade girls would be combined. No refunds or credits will be issued once the program has started. Sign up at the Community Services Office at 712 Union St, Mon-Fri 7:30am-4:30p
