Annual eCycling Event for Residents – April 29

The combined efforts of several local, environmentally conscious organizations has resulted in the 13th Annual Earth Day Electronic Waste Recycling Day. On April 29, from 9:00am-12:00pm, local households can drop off their old electronics at Pella Corporation’s parking lot at the Clark & South St. intersection.  

Older CRT monitors and TVs (those with tubes) will be accepted this year as follows: The first two CRTs per vehicle will be accepted at no charge, each CRT over two will be charged $10 each.  There is no charge for any other items accepted at the event. 

Acceptable items include:Computer Monitors, PCs, Laptops, TVs, Cell Phones, Keyboards, Printers, Cameras 

*No appliances, microwaves, lightbulbs, paint or oil!  

Donations will be accepted and proceeds will be used to promote environmental stewardship through a grant program available to local schools. We are not able to accept items in advance. All items must be dropped off during the event only. Also, due to federal regulations, we are not able to accept items from businesses, schools, churches or other organizations.
